We are interviewed by the Elmia subcontractor organizer

This week, I was interviewed by the Elmia subcontractor organizer Chain-Ray Sweden. The following is an excerpt.

  • Chain-Ray was founded in 1976 as a subsidiary of the Chung Hwa Group, and its first customer was a company from Stockholm, Sweden; since then, Chain-Ray has maintained a good relationship with Swedish companies. It's really like working with a Swedish company because Sweden is also focused on global market expansion.
  • In late 2013, Chain-Ray Taiwan opened its first overseas office in Jönköping, Sweden. At that time, the company had only 11 Swedish clients; however, one year later, the number of clients had increased to 18, and Kevin Kuo admits, "It is a great honor to have the trust of our clients!
  • Chain-Ray's main business areas are plastics and metals, with production mostly in Taiwan and China. Sweden is Chain-Ray's second largest market, and almost a year ago, the decision was made to set up a sales department in Sweden.
  • Chain-Ray provides total solutions for mechanical components in the fields of information and communication, industry and medicine, including product mechanism design, raw material consulting and sales, and product prototyping; ultimately, the products produced can be the internal parts and metal housings of any household or electronic product. Taiwan is an island nation that places a lot of emphasis on export markets. Even though we are a small country, we have a good manufacturing base," says Kevin kuo.
  • This is the fifth time Chain-Ray has participated in the International Industrial Parts Show in Jönköping, Sweden, and Kevin Kuo is looking forward to meeting as many Swedish customers as possible; "This way, we can meet on the show floor instead of going to different meetings all over Sweden," he says.
