When Taiwanese Chain-Ray opened its office in Jönköping in late 2013, they had eleven Swedish customers. A year later, the 18 pieces.
– It feels good, says Kevin Kuo, CEO of Chain-Ray Sweden.

Chain-Ray was founded in 1976 and is a subsidiary of Chung Hua Group. One of their first clients was a company from Stockholm and the relationship with Sweden has since worked just fine.
– It is easy to work with Swedish companies – moreover, they pay always on time, said Kevin kuo.

Main areas of Chain-Ray is in plastics, electronics and metals. The production is in Taiwan and China – and for a year they have a marketing department in Sweden. Sweden is namely Chain-Ray’s second largest market.
– We often had trouble hearing each other when we talked on the phone and felt therefore that it was best that we could meet face to face, says Kevin kuo.

Chain-Ray supplies products to sectors such as information and communication technology, industry and medicine. The end products can be anything from home and automotive electronics hinges and metal enclosures.
– Taiwain is a small island that focuses heavily on the export market. But even though we are a small country, we have a good manufacturing base, said Kevin kuo.

This is the fifth time that the Chain-Ray exhibits at Elmia Subcontractor and Kevin Kuo use the opportunity to meet so many of its Swedish customers as possible.
– In this way we can meet here and do not need to travel around Sweden in various meetings, he says.
